"But those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed. They will rise on wings like eagles…"
Waiting is one of the hardest assignments God gives you. Not because nothing is happening — but because you cannot see what is happening.
Isaiah wrote to people who felt forgotten. Their answer had not come, and the silence felt like absence. Into that silence God speaks: those who trust in the Lord for help will find their strength renewed. Notice — the promise is not that waiting ends quickly. The promise is that waiting people are carried people.
You may be waiting on healing, on a door to open, on a prodigal to come home. God has not forgotten you. He formed you and made you for His glory — and He does not abandon what He made.
Walking it out
Today, name the thing you are waiting for — out loud, in prayer. Then thank Him for one thing He has already done. Gratitude keeps the heart soft while it waits.
Closing prayer
Father, teach me to wait with hope instead of fear. Renew my strength today, and let my waiting become worship. Amen.
