SURVIVED TO BEGIN AGAIN.

Just recently I was reading the book of Genesis and I got to the chapter that talks about Noah and the great flood. We have all probably heard this story before, Noah survived the flood with his family as a result of him being obedient to God’s word.

Now as I was reading I realized that after the survival Noah was asked or told by God to begin again. He was told to come out from the ark that gave him and his family comfort. God needed him to start again so as to reproduce again and not to stay in the place where he had obtain comfort with his family. So in my thoughts I realized,

When we ask God for survival or when God gives us survival, He doesn’t give it to us for us to stay in that comfort forever but instead when He gives us survival, He gives it to us for us to begin again.

Let me draft this the way we can cleary understand it...........,You probably started a business and in the cause of it you realised that you were running at a loss. You prayed to God for survival and by His Grace you got it. Now after that survival, you have felt so safe in the comfort of surviving that loss and you have decided to never start any kind of Business again.

That kind of decision is the reason why am writing this to you today. I came to fire some inspiration in you that staying in your comfort zone or your place of survival doesn’t keep you safe forever. Temporary it might keep you safe but permanently it rips you off the blessings God has in stored for you in your days ahead.

If you read the story about the ark, you will agree with me that the ark could have been a safety place for Noah and his family to still stay after the flood. But for God to start a new generation, He needed Noah to come out from the place of comfort(the ark) so that He can begin again through him. Imagine if Noah had refused to come out from the ark, there would have been no reproducing all over the earth again. But his obedience to come out and begin again brought out this generation that includes me and you today.

So my dear reader, all I want to inspire you today on is that, you don’t have to stay in your comfort zone forever because you have no idea the things God wants to start with you again. There is something God wants to begin again through you.

You survived to begin again, You survived to cross Jordan again, You survived to use your story to inspire other people, You survived to lead some people to their promised land, You survived to stand again, You survived to bring a new generation of survivors to being, You survived to build again and I can go on and on and on for you because if you did not die in it then it actually came to make you stronger for a new beginning.

As i end this Piece i want you to understand that, just because you are beginning again doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy for you. The struggle is still going to come real but do not give up because God's words says that in our weakness His strength will be made perfect for us. You will win again though Christ who strengthens you. Just avail yourself for the new beginning He is about to take you through and you will be a blessing.

Dear God, my earnest prayer is that you help us to see beyond our comfort.
